Hoot Dog, The Olive Journal, and My Creative Faith Club Lesson is Live Today

If you have signed up to this newsletter because you know me, then you know Hoot and see him regularly on FB or at our furniture store. If you have signed up to follow the art then let me introduce you. Hoot has been in our lives a long time and we try to take the best of care of him, as he does us. He is 14 years old and belongs to our son Jacob. Thankfully they live close and we see them daily. It just happens that he is now an old man pup and can't push himself up to stand. He is an invalid dog. He cannot push up on his own to get on his feet. He can walk slowly but surely once we use his harness to pull him up and get him on his feet. He is pretty much the boss of all of us. We are thankful God made him shine a little brighter when my son and daughter went to the shelter many years ago. Hootie tootie to have had him to teach us about loving, caring for others, and patience through the years. And his name is really cool- I make up lots of rhymes and stories and art about him.

Speaking of rescues- Olive is another great rescue dog. She is from Louisville. Olive has been entertaining her person for more than 11 years now. This Olive Journal tells a little of her story using gestural drawings, collage, and oil pastels. This two fold journal was a great way to celebrate that fun old lady pup! The picture below shows the front and back when the journal was close to being completed. Please contact me if you are interested in a pet journal for your animal companion.
